“It’s important to feel included in your community and connected with other like-minded people. Meeting other Black women through this project has given me the opportunity to reflect on my life and to understand myself better.”

“My project has become a platform to share our views on the Black experience, Black History Month, success, and community togetherness. It is my hope to encourage our communities to be intentionally more inclusive of their increasingly diverse and racialized populations.”
